The Royal Aeronautical Society, founded in 1866, headquartered in London , with numerous branches worldwide, and over 20,000 members is the oldest and one of the most respected aviation and aerospace organizations in the world. The sixth Annual Black Tie Dinner Lecture of the Seattle Branch will be presented by the President-Elect of the Royal Aeronautical Society, Captain David Rowland, FRAeS.

How fitting that the Museum's Concorde “AG” parked just outside and formerly flown in revenue service by our speaker will be reunited for the evening. Amongst many other positions in his long and distinguished aviation career, Captain Rowland served as Concorde Flight Manager and Concorde General Manager during his thirty years with British Airways.

This event will be held at The Museum of Flight, on Saturday, 17 November, 2007 , in the Great Gallery of the Museum. There will be a Social Hour beginning at 6:00 p.m. and our RAeS Piper will call guests to dinner at 7:00 p.m. The lecture will begin about 8:30 p.m. and there will be plenty of time for questions and answers.

Individual seating is US $120, or you may wish to sponsor a table with eight seats for $1,500.

We'll look forward to seeing you, your partner, and guests, at the 2007 Sixth Annual Joe Sutter Dinner Lecture!
